Sciences in debate!

Gather and analyse information, develop a critical eye and take a stand on research and what's at stake for society, reason, compare your option with others... in preparation for responsible citizenship.
A 1h30-long workshop leads students to discuss questions of science and society arising from a concrete simulation exercise. Various expression techniques are utilized (improvisation-theatre, role-playing, audio-visual activities).

The day is completed with a self-guided tour of the exhibits (in-depth discovery with the help of learning materials), the major show at the Palais des Images, and/or the discovery of the slag heap.

Robotics trophies

An international competition open to all classes and all school types up to secondary-school level!
The Belgian Robotics Trophies gathers teams from different horizons who construct a remote-controlled robot at their own pace, then test their work against the other entries during a tournament held at the Pass in the spring.
