The development of the web and the spread of the Internet mean that people with serious visual impairments can now access a wealth of information and services that were not previously available to them. In contrast with what is commonly supposed, visually impaired and even blind people can operate computers and thus access the Internet by using either screen enlargement software or speech synthesis and Braille display technologies.

The Pass site puts a very high priority on making its content accessible to visually impaired people.
For this reason, the portal’s graphics and code have been designed according to the accessibility rules of the WAI (Web Accessibility Initiative) to make the site as easy to use and as legible as possible for the blind and the visually impaired. The Pass cannot guarantee the accessibility of external sites to which its site carries links.
